A little about me

For about two decades I have been navigating the space between Creative wants and Business needs. Working across Art, Design, Finance, Logistics, Project Management, Industrial Engineering, Sourcing, and Fabrication my days are spent rapidly switching between right brain and left brain tasks. Building not only objects and spaces but also relationships and systems. My career has the challenge and privilege of not fitting one particular mold.

Over the years I have managed to :

  • Support and grow businesses through planning and design

  • Form relationships with Artists and Designers that are mutually beneficial

  • Develop an operating model allowing ideas to scale quickly and affordably

  • Make environments where creative culture can grow alongside commerce

  • Explore ideas and build projects across the globe working with lots of interesting people

Additionally, knowing that creating is a business and businesses rely on making a profit I have managed tens of millions of dollars in multiple currencies across several business categories and brought every project in on time, under budget, and beyond expectation.

When not working you can find me digging through obscure design publications, researching emerging artists, designers and technology, and monitoring the exhibition circuits. Sometimes you may also find me on long distance bike rides on back-country roads, talking to fellow old skateboarders about skateboarding (rather than actually skating), or tucked away in my studio working on a project that will hopefully lead me down the next rabbit hole of research and experimentation.

If you have a creative practice and wish to connect, feel free to contact me and strike up a conversation.

Perhaps there’s a project together in our future...
